As solution above, I2Soft software is installed on the related host and backup servers, mainly offering real-time protection for all kinds of data files, such as Domino and database. It can backup the important data in the office system to cloud disaster recovery center which will replicate the data into the remote virtual tape library, realizing three centers' protection in two places with no physical distance limit. Its specific deployment and architecture are as follows:
Office production system: It is mainly composed of DOMINO virtual servers, Sharing the N8000 storage. Configure the i2Soft disaster recovery client module in the virtual server to achieve rapid deployment of disaster recovery software; When needed, the automatic update function will auto upgrade dispersed client module without human intervention.
I2Soft server module is installed on the disaster recovery server, receiving data sent by production server in real time. Meanwhile, i2Soft is compatible with heterogeneous storage, and transparent to the underlying storage; When exceptional situation happens, i2Soft can provide rapid real-time data recovery service. What's more, i2Soft can replicate backup data to remote VTL (virtual tape library) in the asynchronous way, strictly protecting data through three centers' protection in two place
All the configuration and monitoring can be realized through disaster recovery machine on the web, such as disaster configuration, traffic monitoring, restoration, etc. Control machine can be of any server in the grid, on which I2 server module is installed and can be received by all the servers under management.

When an exceptional situation occurs and some data needs restoration, data can be recovered from disaster recovery center to corresponding server directly through the console if disaster recovery center is operating normally. On account of i2Soft's excellent replication technology, RPO may be close to zero while RTO depends on the bandwidth and the amount of data. If the application employs high availability protection in the future, RTO can also be close to zero. If both the production system and disaster recovery center go wrong , the data can be recovered from VTL.
